Dr. Susan Judson - Optometrist/Owner |

Dr. Susan Judson was born and raised in Alexandra, PEI. She began her Science studies at the University of Prince Edward Island in 1987. Admitted to the University of Waterloo School of Optometry after only two years of university science, she moved to Waterloo Ontario to pursue her education.
Dr. Judson obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from UW in 1993. After graduation she practised in Summerside for five years. Life led her back to Charlottetown where she opened Charlottetown Vision Care Inc. on North River Road in 1998.
Dr. Judson is a member of the Prince Edward Island Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. She has served on the Prince Edward Island College of Optometrists for six years and was registrar for four years.
She resides in Alexandra with her husband Paul Gallant, her stepson Marshall, her daughter Grace and two dogs and two cats |
| Dr. Jeff Harding - Optometrist |

Dr. Harding joined Charlottetown Vision Care in the summer of 2001. Born in Fredericton, NB, he moved to PEI upon completion of his optometric studies and now resides in Covehead, PEI with his wife Juliana.
Dr. Harding completed his undergraduate studies at the University of New Brunswick, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology with a minor in Psychology. He then attended the University of Waterloo School of Optometry, graduated in 2001 and was awarded the Canadian Association of Optometry Award of Merit, for contributions to the optometry school community, while maintaining a high academic standing. Dr. Harding is a member of the PEI Association of Optometrists (PEIAO) and is currently serving as PEI's representative on the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO) Council.
In 2005, Jeff and Julie were participants in Charlottetown’s ‘Amazing Race’ and the Terry Fox Run across the Confederation Bridge. They are currently expecting their first child – due in the summer of 2006. |
| Bonnie Gallant - Optometrist |

Dr. Bonnie Gallant joined Charlottetown Vision Care as an optometrist in September 2005. She was born and raised in North River, PEI, and lives there still.
Dr. Gallant began her post-secondary education at the University of Prince Edward Island, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 2001. She then attended the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and was granted a Doctor of Optometry degree with excellent standing in June 2005.
Dr. Gallant has worked for Charlottetown Vision Care as a summer optometric assistant since 2002, and is very excited to have joined this practice. |
| Paul Gallant - Dispensary and Lab Technician |

Paul has been with Charlottetown Vision Care since it opened
in 1998. He enjoys choosing the most stylish and most appropriate
frames, lenses and coatings. He is available to solve eyeglass
problems and deal with difficult prescriptions and adjustments.
In addition to his dispensary responsibilities, he assumes some
reception duties. He also operates the on-site finishing lab,
where he cuts, tints and mounts lenses into frames. |
| Cathy Austin - Certified Optometric Assistant |

Cathy has been with Charlottetown Vision Care since June 2003.
She advises patients on the best looking frames and options
for lenses and coatings in order to achieve that great new look.
She enjoys solving eyeglass problems and dealing with prescriptions
and adjustments. She also assists with reception and preliminary
testing. In the spring of 2004, Cathy completed the Certified
Optometric Assistant program of the Canadian Association of
Optometrists. |
| Joyce Burhoe - Bookkeeper |

Joyce joined us in May 2002 as an Administrative
Assistant. She has over 12 years experience in office management
and is primarily responsible for the accounting area of Charlottetown
Vision Care. In addition, Joyce performs some automated visual
field testing, and also assists with reception and helps out
when needed. |
| Nicci Rhynes - Receptionist |

Nicci joined the Charlottetown Vision Care family in March 2006. Her role as receptionist leaves her primarily responsible for greeting and checking in patients as well as processing payments, scheduling appointments, and juggling the many tasks that are a part of her daily duties. She also assists the doctors by performing some preliminary testing. Nicci is thrilled to be a part of our great team, She looks forward to welcoming new patients and assisting our current patients with their ocular needs. |

QiaoQiao flew all the way from China to begin her modelling career as the face of CVC in December 2004. She inspires the staff with her charming laugh and is the darling of 549 North River Road. |
